The Swing Price Volume indicator is an excellent way to measure volume and trend strength.
Basically, it is a method of analyzing the volume of each leg of a swing.
When we plot the swing price volume indicator, a line connecting the significant swing points is drawn on the chart.
In the case of a swing move, the high or low mark is marked and the price changes direction. For the last swing, the AV (Average volume) is displayed at the high or low.
By analysing the average volume in each swing, a price move can be analyzed.
When this indicator is plotted, the AV% (Average volume in percentage terms) is displayed in the commentart section. Compared to the previous swing, it shows an increase or decrease in the average volume.
An increase in average volume during a swing move indicates the strength of the trend. Whenever the average volume decreases in any swing movement, it casts doubt on the strength of the trend.
