ETF Groups in Momentify

There are four ETF groups available on Momentify & Definedge platforms:

All ETFs

This group includes all listed ETFs representing various underlying instruments. Some ETFs in this group may have low liquidity. To avoid such ETFs, you can define a volume condition in Momentify to filter them out.

When using this group in Momentify, make sure to click on the ‘ETF Group’ button.

This ensures that only one ETF per underlying is included in your portfolio, preventing multiple ETFs tracking the same index or asset, which could dilute diversification.

All ETFs (Liquid)

This group consists of liquid ETFs selected from the All ETFs group. It is updated every month and is ideal for scanning ETFs based on technical strategies.

All-One ETFs

Created especially for Momentify users, this group includes one ETF per underlying, selected based on liquidity and other criteria.
It includes ETFs across categories such as:

> Broad market indices

> Sector and thematic indices

> Gold, Silver, and international markets

> Fixed income indices (which can act as hedges when equities underperform)

When using this group, you do not need to click on the ‘ETF Group’ button in Momentify.

All-Sector ETFs

This group includes one ETF for each major sector. It is suitable for creating a momentum-based sector rotation portfolio.

Like All-One ETFs, you do not need to click on the ‘ETF Group’ button in Momentify when using this group.

Custom ETF Groups

You can also create your own ETF group in Momentify.

Choose ETFs you are comfortable with and run your momentum strategy on that group. In such cases, rebalancing will be done on your custom group, and you will need to maintain that group yourself.
