Multi-column breakout pattern is a 5-column major bearish support breakout pattern.
It is a combination of triple bottom sell and diagonal triple bottom sell. The only difference is the boxes in the 3rd column of the pattern. A maximum of 2 boxes below the previous column of ‘O’, or they are at the same level as the previous column of O.
The pattern shows a major bearish horizontal pattern breakout, a major bearish pattern.
Prashant Shah introduced this concept and explained this pattern in his book on Point & Figure charts.
This pattern can be plotted on the chart by adding it from the study menu in TradePoint & RZone. The pattern is also available in the system builder section. By combining this pattern with other patterns and indicators, you can create your own trading strategies. For any group of stocks and market segments, you can scan and backtest stocks based on those strategies.
