What is RZone?

RZone is a unique platform for technical scanners and backtesting where you can can scan, backtest, and build strategies on all types of charting methods, even on lower timeframes.

What are the key features of RZone?

RZone offers a range of unique features for portfolio analysis & identifying instruments. You get features like advanced relative strength and breadth indicators & scanners, matrix tables, Sector analysis, multi-timeframe scanners and much more.

Is there a free trial for RZone?

When you open a Demat account with Definedge Securities, you get a chance to avail a one-month free trial for all our PRO products (including RZone). You can activate this subscription at any point from your MyAccount Dashboard by clicking on the “START MY FREE MONTH TRIAL” option on the left side menu.

Can I backtest strategies in RZone?

Backtesting is a defining feature of RZone. You can easily backtest your strategies for a custom or pre-defined stratgies for a single scrip or a group of your choice.  

To backtest your strategies on RZone, select the ‘Back Testing’ option in the left side-menu on RZone. To access RZone, click here.

What is the pricing for RZone?

Can I track sector performance in RZone?

You can get an overview of sector performance on the RZone homepage.

You can also view a comprehensive report of sector-wise performance by following this path –
RZone Dashboard > Select ‘D-scanners’ from the left side-menu > Select ‘D-phase’. 

What is a System Builder?

With System Builder, you can create and save your own trading systems under the ‘My System Builder’ or check the systems created by other traders under the ‘Public System Builder’ option. You can find the System Builder on RZone from the following path –
RZone Dashboard > Select ‘System Builder’ from the left side-menu

Which scanners are available on RZone?

RZone offers a wide range of scanners available under various options – price scanners, RS scanners, seasonality scanners, multi-timeframe scanners, P&F smart scanners, smart scanners, volume scanners and D-scanners. Each of these options includes multiple scanners under them. You can find these Scanners from the left side-menu on the RZone homepage.

What is the strategy ranker in RZone?

With Strategy Ranker, you can check how well our pre-defined strategies have worked over the years for any selected scrip. You can test multiple strategies simultaneously and sort them by success ratio, risk-reward ratio, average return, or expected return. You can find the Strategy Ranker on RZone from the following path -RZone Dashboard > Select ‘Strategy Ranker’ from the left side-menu

What is Matrix in RZone?

Matrix is a unique feature developed by Definedge Securities. It is a method of scoring and quantifying various technical studies to simplify trading decisions. You can find the Matrix option in RZone from the following path –

Does RZone offer technical analysis tools?

RZone offers a wide range of technical analysis tools including price and RS scanners, group manager, system builder, backtesting, smart scanners, innovative Matrix & performance tables, Price, Volume, OI, Ratio studies matrix tables, and much more.

What is Watchlist in RZone?

The watchlist feature in RZone offers the price data of all instruments of the group for daily, weekly, monthly quarterly, or yearly timeframe. You can also set a lock-back period for historical data and also export the output in the csv file format. 

You can find the Watchlist option in RZone from the following path – RZone Dashboard > Select ‘Table’ from the left side-menu > Select ‘Watchlist-EOD’
