Signing in
You sign in to Definedge from the chat. The first time you ask a question, and whenever a session expires, the
assistant replies with a Definedge sign-in link (it calls a tool named GetLogin). Open the link, sign in, then ask
your question again.
To start, ask "Connect to my Definedge account." Do the same on your phone or in a new chat whenever the assistant says you are not signed in.
Set the connector's authentication to No sign in (Claude) or No authentication (ChatGPT). This doesn't open your account to anyone: the account stays closed until you sign in through the Definedge link. With sign-in turned on in the AI app instead, you are asked to sign in once more when you add the connector.
Always check that the address bar shows signin.definedgesecurities.com before you enter your credentials.
